To increase security on your GNU STOCK account, you can enable 2FA Authentication. This means that you will be required to enter an authentication code each time you log in to any GNU STOCK. You can learn more about two-factor authentication here.

You can enable or disable 2FA Authentication at any time via your GNU STOCK account.

How to enable 2FA Authentication

1. Go to https://www.gnustock.uk/login
2. After login to your account press on the small down arrow that's beside to your account name and choose “Settings”.
   
3. From the settings pages press on “2FA Authentication ”.
   
4. Download your choice of authenticator app to your mobile device, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
5. Once installed, scan the QR Code with your app to activate your 2FA Authentication.
6. Now you will see the new 2FA Authentication code “we (GNU STOCK) called it OTP Code” generated through your authenticator app belongs to your email account that's linked to your GNU STOCK account.
   
7. Now Press the red button “Enable 2FA Authentication” 
8. Finally enter your new 2FA Authentication code “we (GNU STOCK) called it OTP Code” that's generated through your authenticator app belongs to your email account that's linked to your GNU STOCK account and press "Enable".
   
9. That's it! From now from time to time when you log in to your GNU STOCK account you’ll be required to enter an authentication code “OTP Code” from the app you used to set up 2FA Authentication.

How to disable 2FA Authentication

1. Go to https://www.gnustock.uk/login
2. After login to your account press on the small down arrow that's beside to your account name and choose “Settings”.
   
3. From the settings pages press on “2FA Authentication ”.
   
4. Now press on “Disable 2FA AutAuthentication”.
5. Finally enter your new 2FA Authentication code “we (GNU STOCK) called it OTP Code” that's generated through your authenticator app belongs to your email account that's linked to your GNU STOCK account and press "Disable".
   

If you want to disable 2FA Authentication but have forgotten your password, you can reset it from this page: https://www.gnustock.uk/password/reset. We’ll send you an email with a link for you to reset the password. Once you have reset your password you will need to log into your account and provide your 2FA Authentication Code or OTP Code. Then follow the steps listed above to disable 2FA Authentication.

If you decide you would like to re-enable 2FA Authentication on your account, you can do so at any time.
